Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information is (and is not) handled when you use KakouCalc, and the choices you have. The short version: the numbers you type into our calculators never leave your device, we require no account, and KakouCalc's own code sets no cookies and runs no analytics. The rest of this page covers the third-party services every website relies on — hosting, fonts, and the advertising that keeps the site free.

Your calculator inputs stay on your device
Every calculator on this site runs entirely in your browser. The figures you enter — incomes, balances, rates, debts — are processed locally by JavaScript on your device. They arenever transmitted to our servers, stored by us, or shared with anyone. When you close the page, they are gone.
Information we do not collect
KakouCalc has no user accounts, no sign-up, no newsletters, and no forms that submit data to us. We do not collect names, email addresses, financial details, or any other personal information through the site, and we do not run our own analytics or tracking scripts. We do not sell personal information — we do not have any to sell.
Local storage (your theme choice)
The site remembers one preference — light or dark theme — using your browser'slocalStorage. This value stays in your browser, is never sent anywhere, contains no personal information, and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings. KakouCalc's own code sets no cookies.
Hosting (Cloudflare)
The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like virtually all web hosts, Cloudflare processes standard technical data when your browser requests a page — such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested — for security, abuse prevention, and performance, and may set strictly-necessary cookies for those purposes. This happens on Cloudflare's infrastructure under Cloudflare's privacy policy; we do not receive or keep server logs ourselves.
Fonts (Google Fonts)
Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. When your browser fetches those font files from Google's servers, Google receives the technical details of that request (including your IP address), governed by Google's privacy policy. The font requests do not tell Google what you typed into any calculator.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
KakouCalc is supported by advertising served through Google AdSense — that is what keeps every calculator free. Where ads are shown:
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of many other third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info/choices.
Where required by law (for example in the EEA, UK, or certain US states), you will be asked for consent before advertising cookies are used, and non-personalized ads may be shown instead if you decline.
Embedded calculators on other sites
Other websites may embed our calculators using the widget we provide. The same privacy behavior applies there: the embedded calculator runs in your browser and your inputs are not sent to us. The page hosting the widget is governed by that site's own privacy policy.
External links
Our guides and blog articles link to outside resources (for example, government data sources). Once you leave KakouCalc, the destination site's privacy practices apply — we encourage you to review them.
Children's privacy
KakouCalc is a general-audience educational site and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If our practices change — for example, if we ever add analytics or a contact form — this page will be updated and the effective date above revised. Material changes will be visible here before they take effect.
